Scenes from a fun Staff Appreciation Week at Culbreth!
Monday- Goodie bags with $30 Amazon gift cards, homemade paw print cookies, lots of snacks and a schedule for the week appeared in all teacher and staff mailboxes!
Tuesday- Staff were treated to lunch from Alpaca!
Wednesday- Staff had breakfast and coffee from the B3 Pop-Up Coffee Shop! Many employees were Culbreth Alums!
Thursday- Hospitality treated teacher and staff to Al’s Burger Shack! So many happy faces and full tummies!

Volunteer Needed to Take Over PTSA E-News for Next Year!
After six years serving as PTSA Vice President of Communications, I'll be stepping down, as my youngest child will be moving on to Carrboro High next year. If you are looking for a great way to volunteer for the PTSA and be in the know of all the goings-on at CMS, this is the position for you! The primary duty of the PTSA Vice President of Communications is preparation of the weekly PTSA e-news. Also, you would serve as moderator for the CMS community Facebook page, including posting items of interest there. The typical time spent on these duties is about an hour a week. There's also room to expand the scope of social media outreach and the e-news itself if you are interested in making changes! Community News
On Sunday, May 12th, from 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM, Athlinics is holding a UNC Soccer Clinic! Open to both boys and girls, the event will feature notable UNC athletes — John McDowell and Riley Thomas, among others — who will lead a skills training session and team play, concluding with a panel to speak with the players about student-athlete life at the Division I level. This event will take place at House of Sports NC at 1839 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
This is an incredible opportunity for your boys and girls, who will not only develop as athletes but also learn about the collegiate athlete experience. Spots are limited.

Donate to Project Graduation!
Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol free late night celebration for CHCCS graduated seniors and their guests. There will be food, music, a casino, prizes, a photo booth, karaoke, dodgeball, dancing, and much much more! One in six attending seniors win prizes at this event.
Project Graduation provides a safe, fun, equitable way for all graduating seniors to celebrate. Our community has recorded zero fatalities on graduation night since Project Graduation began in 1992.
